New Accessories Extension

Because you asked for it, well at least 6 of you asked for it, the 'Product accessories' extension is out. More will follow.

The extension is developed by myself under the name of AnaisSoftware (the company I work worked for).

I hope it's what you wanted. If not, well, I'm waiting for suggestions to improve it.

Please contact the e-mail address associated to the extension for the install/uninstall guide. I don't think you need it, it's plug and play, but just in case, or for the PHPDoc.

    btw i use easy tabs. Its not installing off magento connect and I have no direct dl link.

      Send an e-mail to the address listed in the extension page. Someone will send you the code. Also visit the extension page and read the reviews to see how you can make it work with the easytabs extension.

      Try editing this file: app/design/frontend/base/default/layout/anais_accessories.xml. comment this line : detailed_info
      Then go to app/design/{interface}/{theme}/template/catalog/product/view.phtml and add this line where you want your accessories to appear:
      getChildHtml('accessories_products')?>

      Clear the cache and try again

    Any chanche getting this extension working in 1.7.0.2? Not saving the accessories products in admin.

      The extension belongs to the company AnaisSoftware. I don't work for that company anymore so I cannot get involved in the development process anymore. I don't know their plan for the future regarding Magento or the extensions they have. Sorry but I can't help you much on this.

    I try that extension and it's working great thanks for sharing..
    I have some question. It's possible to add another tab based for example on other link type id ?
